PANEL 1Lanterns swing under brick arches above stalls and a tiny stage. AUNTIE SORA: “Show the welcome, not private moments.” JAY: “Respectful filming? Bet.”
PANEL 2Rae clips on a Pocket Tripod Clamp beside wrench, Propeller Gauge, Dough Scraper, and Fold-Out Safety Whistle. RAE: “New tool: grips a rail, holds camera steady.” JAY: “Tool parade, no float.”
PANEL 3TRAY: “Live streaming sends video now. Ring lights brighten faces; pocket drones give careful high views.” RAE: “Ask first; safe flight zone; never over food or crowds.” JAY: “Light, camera, polite.”
PAGE 2
PANEL 4Auntie Sora gives them an “ARQS Press Night Market Welcome—paid creator shift” card. AUNTIE SORA: “Permission, invited stall signs, taped flight square, say ‘live.’” RAE: “Real job, real boundaries.”
PANEL 5GLITCH: “I heard ‘pan snack.’ Pancake close-up?” JAY: “Strong creative vision.” TRAY: “Shot list: lanterns, sign, stage, invited stalls.”
PANEL 6BIG COMIC GAG: Jay tests the ring light, catches it on his backpack, and wears a glowing waist-halo. JAY: “Important donut.” RAE: “Portable lamp. Don’t illuminate pigeons.”
PAGE 3
PANEL 7The stream starts; Rae clamps the camera. TRAY: “Welcome, where every light says hello.” Screen comments: “Nice lanterns!” JAY: “Vibe check: wholesome.”
PANEL 8The drone follows Rae’s shiny gold bead cuffs outside its square. BIG COMIC GAG: It circles her braids like a confused moon. JAY: “Satellite hair unlocked!” RAE: “Not a feature.”
PANEL 9Tray pauses. TRAY: “Brightness tracking is too broad. It needs one target and a smaller geofence.” RAE: “Track blue lantern, not my head.” GLITCH: “Blue lantern, not pancake. Stored.”
PAGE 4
PANEL 10The drone makes a smooth, safe overhead pass. BIG COMIC GAG: Jay’s glowing lace catches the tripod; he freezes in flamingo balance while the clamp holds. JAY: “Meant to do this.” TRAY: “Tomorrow problem.”
PANEL 11Auntie Sora pays Rae twenty-two coins. AUNTIE SORA: “Clear, kind, fun—and fast fix.” RAE: “Pay us properly: received.” JAY: “One coin for fame?” RAE: “Fame costs zero.”
PANEL 12Ledger: “04, Night-market creator: +22. Total: 67.” JAY: “Low-key rich in jar money.” MIZZ ZEE texts: “Solar paint tomorrow.” RAE: “Sunscreen, goggles, zero pancake drones.”

Tech Talk with Rae

RAE’S TOOLBOX BOX: A live stream is video people watch while you make it.

A ring light helps cameras see in dim places; a pocket drone makes safe high views.

Creators plan, ask permission, and pause to fix problems.

Funny caveat: a drone sees shiny braids, not moons.

TRY IT: Make a three-shot list. What needs permission first?

The night market glows, the camera is live, and Jay is wearing a ring light like a donut. Tray, Jay, and Rae have a paid creator job—but a pocket drone mistakes Rae’s shiny braid cuffs for its target. Can the crew keep the video kind, the drone safe, and the Crew Bank growing before the lanterns wink out?
